Dear Listmates:
A sister is now the successor New Jersey guardian of her developmentally disabled sister, who still lives in a New Jersey group home. She wants to move her sister to a group home closer to her, in Nassau County.
This would likely be a "transfer" Article 17A case, with group home relocation, Medicaid and DDD aspects. Happy to pass on any referrals/ recommendations for counsel experienced with such matters.
